The real thing, WHITE New Zealand abalone, all natural stained a royal blue.This is the rarest abalone I know of. Looks very good on white, cream,black, blue or any dark or light body;adds fine contrast but with an artistic subdued effect . Very, very classy – unlike anyone has ever seen. No glitter or bling – just an artistic statement.

Every pickguard is unique and will vary from this picture somewhat but the overall color is the same:ranging from royal blue to silver to a deep lavender. Very, very classy! Since this material is extremely rare, it may take a few weeks for me to get a hold of some. The wait is really worth your while though and you will not be disappointed!

All screw holes vintage standard tele OR send me your pickguard or a printout thereof and I will fit the screw holes accordingly for no additional costs.

All pickguards are made by me personally and all by hand! Laminated in three to four very thin layers and then lacquered. Don´t expect perfectly machined pickguards because I am not a machine and I drill, grind and cut by hand! Because of this very brittle and fragile material, it is not possible to mass produce these pickguards. You are getting a fine hand crafted part that you will grow to love with time and it will last the life of your guitar. It can take a beating.
